  2. Hey there buds!!! I also am replying to your post. Not doing much around here. Just ate lunch with my mom and Tierra at Taco Bell. This morning after my summer Comp. Apps. 1 class, there was nobody to pick me up and I do not like waiting on my sisters, so I started to walk home (about 2 miles away from south!). Anyway, Timarie called mom and said that I wasn't there and nobody knew where I was. Like it's too terribly hard to remember to pick up your 14 year old sister at 10:00! But I got in trouble so now I'm riding my bike home from school from now on :). So Lindsay, did you go on your vacation yet? Where have you been? There only like 5 regulars on our blog. Toodles!

  3. Hey, me again. You guys should make a full page of yourselves. That way there would be something else to investigate! P.S. Lindsay, I like your new hair cut!

  4. Ok Tionna I'll fill out my profile right now so you can just investigate that!

  5. I'm not bored--I've been shirking all of my responsibilities for the past three days by reading Stephenie Meyers' Twilight books. Have you read her novels? THey are FABULOUS! I stayed up until 1:00 in the morning two nights ago finishing the first book, Twilight, then I stayed up until 3:00 this morning finishing the second one, New Moon. I went back and reread parts of each book again this afternoon. I'm going to the bookstore tonight to buy the third one, Eclipse. THe fourth and final one isn't being released until August, dadgummit.!!! You girls have GOT to get these books. They're about a high school junior girl who moves from Phoenix to a small town in upstate Washington, where she meets and falls in love with the most amazing character...a fabulous VAMPIRE. These are Harry Potter stories for high school students.

    Get busy reading!

I am taking a break from lolling about reading to finish up a couple of assignments for one of my technology classes (the deadline is tonight...). If I forget how to complete one of the technical tasks, I might have to jump back onto the blog to ask someone for help.

  10. Everyone is staying up soooo late to read! I did that all summer last summer because Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out. Yesterday morning I had to get up at 4:15 a.m. because we had a basketball game in Lawrence. It was the Jayhawk Jamboree. All the girls we played were sophmores and jrs. The four games we played (yes 4!!!) we lost :( but the entire tournament was supposed to be a learning experience. I learned to be more physical and tough. However, I do have a battle scar (a girl had really long fingernails and one of them dug into my upper arm where it skin and tissue is very soft because I don't have any arm muscle!).

  11. We went to get three copies of Deathly Hallows at midnight when it came out (one for me, my dad, and my brother). They all went to sleep fairly quickly, while I stayed up all night and read the whole book. For those of you who have not read it, read it.

  12. Ummmm... it took me like a week to read it! But it was totally worth it, what a great book! The rest of the summer I read all seven books again and more... However, this summer I have only read 1 book. :(

  13. When I was in Ohio, we had the OATs (Ohio Achievment Tests), but they were so boring and so easy, that I had about 4-6 hours of reading every day in school for a week. I was re-reading Harry Potter that week, hoping to finish by the time Deathly Hallows came out, but I finished #6 by the end of the week, forcing me to find new book for reading.

  14. My copy of The Deathly Hallows was delivered to me by the postman on the first day of its release--God bless Amazon.com! But...I was having a yard sale, and I exercised the most amazing self-control by waiting until the next day to begin reading Deathly Hallows. I DID, however, rip open the package and scan the chapter titles immediately. I drew a completely incorrect assumption about which character dies based on the chapter titles. Perhaps I will revisit The Deathly Hallows this summer...

Trust me, Tionna--you will LOVE the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. GO straight to the bookstore!!!!

  21. Max, do you mean the Advanced English Reading? I thought you already did that. Earlier you said something about reading Whirligig. I think......

  22. I am going to read Whirligig, just am not at the moment. I still need to get the book and it's a little difficult with my new schedule.
